MAEA’s National Science Outreach Programs are the venues by which we provide cutting edge science in a hands-on manner across the country.  The Science Center site will not only serve as a home base for these programs but will also serve as a community and recreation center thus aiding in the revitalization of the East Wheeling community through jobs creation, entertainment and community development. 

It will offer an array of programs and services; all uniquely designed to create a mix of opportunities for all ages in the community to participate.  The MAEA Science Center featuring the Extended Classroom will feed the Mind, Body and Soul with Hands-on Interaction, Standards-driven content and Role Modeling.  All of these aspects combine to create a unique presentation form known as Edu-tainment.
